Hereford Cathedral School Herefordshire

Previously a hotel and still with Grade II listing, we were tasked by the school to create a boarding house. Working alongside Baart Harries Newall Architects a we were responsible for room layouts, supply and installation of all FF&E as well as window dressings and soft furnishings, which were all made in our workshop in Herefordshire.

In the public rooms the designs allowed for the period features to really sing, but with lots of colourful and modern furniture for the pupils to enjoy within the traditional setting. For the dorms we worked closely with bespoke school furniture manufacturers Whitley Jones to create well appointed and relaxing spaces for the students to work and sleep in.

This project was shortlisted for 2 LABC Regional Excellence Awards in 2020.
